Oli O’Donoghue is the Head of Secured Lending UK, responsible for leading and directing the customer experiences, journeys and products for residential and specialised lending across the direct and intermediary channels for HSBC and First Direct.

With more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, Oli has spent a large portion of her career at Barclays across a variety of roles. Oli moved to HSBC in 2017, leading the Branch Network teams across the UK as Managing Director.

Oli was awarded an MBE in 2023 for her services to diversity in Financial Services. She is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace and society. Oli strongly believes that you must be the change you want to see, and we all have a part to play in driving inclusion; she values fairness and equality and being a big sponsor for Employee Resource Groups allows her to drive what she is so passionate about.
