Nissi Ogulu popularly known as Nissi is a London-based dynamic creative, engineer and entrepreneur. Born in 1994 to Bose Ogulu a renowned media/entertainment executive & Samuel Ogulu. She is grand-daughter to Benson Idonije; the award-winning music critic, author, veteran broadcaster and first manager to the Afrobeat Pioneer & African Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti. She is also the youngest sister to the Grammy Award Winning Music Superstar, Burna Boy.
The multi-talented innovator is an entrepreneur with a staunch cultural advocacy for strategic innovation, product manufacturing and its impact on the technology industry especially in Africa. Nissi graduated from the University of Warwick in the UK, with a Bachelor’s (honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng), and a Distinction Postgraduate Accreditations in Sustainable Design and Innovation Technology from reputable Universities, Loughborough & Warwick.
Founder, Nissi’s heart for innovation and product manufacturing led her to found Kemet Automotive with Rui Mendes Da Silva. Nissi envisions Kemet to transform the African automotive market leading to global feats. She remains steadfast in her commitment to leading innovation in a sustainable way in the technology industry.
