Nominations have opened up for the Black Tech Achievement Awards 2024, and in light of this, we thought it would be helpful to put together a quick guide on writing your nomination with top tips on what our judges are looking for. 

The Black Tech Achievement Awards serve as a platform to recognise and celebrate the exceptional contributions of Black individuals to the tech industry, and with editions in both London and New York, each with 14 categories – there’s no time to waste!

One of the primary criteria for winning the Black Tech Achievement Award is demonstrating a distinctive, unusual, and innovative contribution to the tech industry. Highlight projects, initiatives, or breakthroughs that set you apart from the crowd. Clearly articulate how your work has pushed boundaries, challenged norms, or introduced novel solutions to existing problems. Judges are looking for nominees who have not only excelled in their field but have also brought a unique perspective to the table.

Showcase how you actively contribute to fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
